The Art of

SELF-HEALING

If you long to feel more alive and connected to your creativity, body, soul, and the flow of life itself, this course was made for you.

Transform your life with everyday creative self-healing rituals

The Art of Self-Healing is a gentle mini-course you move through at your own pace to reconnect with your energy and creativity.

You’ll explore small healing rituals that fit your rhythm and your needs – simple practices you can do in 20 minutes a day or less that gradually help you feel more grounded, alive, and connected.

Throughout the course, you’ll practice reconnecting with yourself, finding strength, courage, and creative flow – one brushstroke, one movement, or one breath at a time. You’ll also have a supportive, creative space to experiment, express, and explore, and to carry that energy into your everyday life.

The title, The Art of Self-Healing, has a double meaning: healing itself is an art and something you can do through art. This mini-course invites you to reclaim your creative expression, make space for yourself, and nurture your whole being.

Feel safe, guided, and supported as you make creative self-care a habit.

Hear from Stine, a course participant

"What made me sign up for the course was the desire to go deeper into my creativity and to dare to show myself. For many years, I’d had a creative block, and it felt like a secret room inside me that I wasn’t allowed to unfold. The course allowed me to open that room and see the whole picture of myself – both the less comfortable parts and the parts I already cherish.

Through the process with the cards, I’ve learned that creativity isn’t just about what ends up on the paper, but about expressing my life and the path of my soul. It has given me calm, helped me move from my head down into my body, and allowed me to be fully myself. I now feel a strong desire to take care of what I create and, at the same time, to enjoy what I’m capable of – without relying on what others might think.

The most meaningful moment for me was when I decided to share my work in the group. It was challenging and vulnerable, but also incredibly moving and strengthening. I’ve gained a daily practice and a space to be creative for myself – a loving, self-caring process that has also given me the courage to show myself more fully.

The freedom to use the cards intuitively, to unfold creatively in my own way, and to work in a safe space has been essential. I’ve experienced a sense of wholeness and an integration of my creative sides that has enriched both my art and my life.

I would clearly recommend the course to others. It offers a chance to create a quiet, meditative space for oneself, to deepen into one’s own creativity, and to discover new sides of oneself – regardless of level or experience. It’s about becoming more fully yourself and finding joy in what you create."

Hear from Petra, a course participant:

“I hoped for a space where I could sit with myself and still feel held — and that was exactly what the course gave me. The container is created with such loving intention and spaciousness, and at the same time, you’re gently supported in a way that makes it easy to prioritize yourself, especially when you can’t find that space on your own.

I needed grounding, and the course started right there. It was spot on. And every time I give myself those few minutes, I’m amazed by how much it matters — it centers me far more than I expected.

When I work creatively and intuitively, it feels like pure nourishment. Even when I thought I was ‘just lying on the floor,’ I still experienced a powerful creative process. Even the smallest exercises create big shifts — I keep being surprised by how little it takes.

I can feel the human being behind it all. It’s a living creation, filled with presence and craftsmanship in both the images and the words. It’s a loving, accessible, and deeply meaningful journey that gently supports you in coming home to yourself.”

Frequently asked questions

Is this course for me?

Yes – if you recognize yourself in some of the descriptions above. You don’t need to be able to draw, write, or paint. It’s about being present, feeling safe, and allowing your body and soul’s voice to come through – little by little.

Can I really change anything with a mini course like this?

Yes. If you engage and stick with it. Research shows that it’s the small daily changes that have the biggest impact over time. You may have experienced major insights in larger, in-person courses before, only to find them hard to integrate into everyday life afterward.

This mini-course is intentionally small and simple, so you can actually apply what you learn in your daily life—and notice real change—because you work independently from the start, with gentle support. You can repeat the course as often as you like.

How much time will I need to spend on the course?

The course lasts seven weeks and requires about 20 minutes a day if you work with it daily. But even less is perfectly fine. You can take the course over as long a period as you like. The course itself consists of just over 2 hours of video and audio material in total and is designed as a supportive framework and forum for your own creative work – away from your screens.

After the course, you can repeat it or pick and choose from it if you want to continue supporting the daily creative self-care practice you’ve started. You can also continue to use the course forum, where you’ll meet like-minded people who are on the same journey.

Where and when does the course start?

The course starts as soon as you purchase it. After that, you’ll receive the lessons gradually, and I’ll send everything you need straight to your inbox. You can take the course wherever you are and at your own pace.

Why creativity? How is a dance or a song going to make me feel better?

Because creative self-care works – gently, yet powerfully. You’ve probably experienced dancing, singing, or writing, and suddenly feeling lighter. When you create freely and mindfully, without pressure, you make space for your inner voice and life force. You nourish your connection to yourself and gain access to resources, feelings, and dreams that may have been hidden behind stress, shame, or exhaustion.

For me, creativity is your soul’s own voice – and an anchor you can always return to. Creative expression can also be a kind of alchemical process, transforming the most painful parts of life into something meaningful or even beautiful.

Finally, there is growing research showing that daily creative practice has many health benefits. You can read more by scrolling all the way down on this page.

Which methods do we use in the course?

We work with The Art of Self-Healing cards, which are based on integrative and expressive art therapy, nature therapy, shamanism, and science on the human nervous system, including HeartMath and polyvagal theory.

The guided meditations draw on visualization, meditation, and hypnotherapy. The Art of Self-Healing cards incorporate several methods, and you choose which ones you want to use.

Will you be my teacher in the course & can I receive direct coaching/therapy from you?

No, because this is a self-guided self-help course, not therapy or coaching. Yes, I teach the course, but only through video and audio files. I also sometimes comment on posts in the forum.

Later, there will be opportunities to purchase group coaching and other ways to work directly with me. You can also sign up for my waitlist for psychotherapy by writing to me directly.

What creative materials will I need?

Not much at all. You’ll need some paper, some kind of colors or art materials you enjoy, a bit of music to dance to, and maybe some stones, fabric, or other beautiful objects you’d like to use. All the exercises can be adapted to what you have on hand, and you can find materials that suit you along the way.

What kind of technical setup do I need?

Not much, but the course does require basic computer skills—the kind you’re already using on this site. You’ll access the course through Simplero, a simple platform where you can listen to the audio files and follow along from both your computer and the mobile app. I’ll send you emails with all the login details and instructions.

Is this a good fit for me if I have trauma or other mental health challenges?

The course is designed to be gentle and healing, but it is an online mini-course where you work on your own. It cannot and should not be understood as a substitute for necessary or relevant therapy or professional healthcare.

Additionally, the guided meditations and creative exercises may bring up old emotions and/or traumas, which are best addressed in individual therapy. This is a small online group program with limited individual support, and you are responsible for seeking further help if you need it.

I have more questions – what should I do?

You can find answers to more questions by scrolling down to the “Frequently Asked Questions” section on this page. I've highlighted it for you. If your question isn’t answered there, you’re also very welcome to contact me directly by clicking on “Customer Service” at the very bottom of my main course website.

Art is a restoration: the idea is to repair the damage life does to us – to make whole what is fragmented, which fear and anxiety do to a person.
