Create, Play, and Rest Yourself WHOLE

A creative, nurturing, and playful stress- and trauma-sensitive personal growth and supervision program for tired caregivers

Are you a therapist, teacher, healer, educator, social or health professional who often feels stressed, empty, or burnt out? Would you like to feel safer, more alive, and energized – more whole and at home in yourself?

Do you struggle with:

  • Setting boundaries?

  • Remembering to give yourself the care and attention you give others?

  • Avoiding conflict, instead smiling, raging, or withdrawing?

  • Helping others easily but finding it hard to receive good help yourself?

  • Feeling overwhelmed by endless tasks that are neither satisfying nor meaningful?

  • Knowing what you truly want from your work life?

  • Prioritizing what is best for your body and soul, or always putting it last?

  • Recovering your rhythm and path after stress or burnout?

If this resonates, it may be a sign that your relationship with yourself needs healing. Perhaps you have lost – or never fully developed – true self-loving confidence in yourself, your body, your gifts, your calling, and your connection to others.

About the course

In this brand-new course, designed especially for our times, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create and play

  • Learn to have a better relationship with yourself

  • Begin to heal and help others in a healthier way

Through play, creativity, and safe contact with yourself and others, you will activate the most developed and “healthiest” function of your nervous system – the social engagement system. From here, you can better care for yourself when interacting with others and enjoy it fully.

You will learn to:

  • Love yourself more and give yourself care and compassion.

  • Move out of fight, flight, freeze, and fawn responses.

  • Use self-loving inner dialogues and role-play to feel more confidently connected to yourself and others.

  • Stimulate your nervous system and organism to regenerate and rest through breathing, singing, and humming.

  • Build deep and safe connections with others through movement and meditative “dance.”

  • Rest your way to a better life through guided musical meditations, drawing, and mini-paintings.

  • Create small, effective self-care rituals that fit into your everyday life.

Three learning methods

  1. Personal development and creative work on your relationship with yourself.

  2. Short, concise teaching presentations on trauma- and stress-informed theories and methods learned through years of work as a trauma therapist and educator, combined with art therapy methods I developed:

    • Expressive Arts Therapeutic Integral Trauma Healing

    • Creative Mindfulness

    • Embodied Imaging

    • The Art of Self-Healing Cards (included in the course)

  3. Supervision of your work with clients, students, or citizens, with a focus on your role and countertransference: How your own stress and insecurities affect the themes you encounter most, and how working with these aspects can make you a healthier helper. (No case studies will be used.)
