The peace of summer is here. I hope nature and the slower rhythms are healing and nourishing for your body and soul. But beneath it all, summer can also feel like emptiness, loneliness, or confusion—especially after times of crisis.
You might feel the need for more foothold in the familiar. You want to know what’s going to happen. You long for the happy life everyone else seems to be living. After a crisis, I often wanted to return to what I had—or thought I should have—planned for myself. But I never succeeded.
Luckily, I have a wise, creative, and much-loved friend visiting from the US right now. She once taught me to see things differently: crises and the silence that often follows are exactly where we can take a leap forward, grow, sprout, and experience transformation. She helped me see that after a crisis, we can let go of the frozen images of ourselves and take a whole new direction, gaining new ground within ourselves.
In rituals around the world, initiates are often exposed to something that puts them in a state of crisis, loss, or confusion before they can emerge changed—transitioning from child to adult, from unbaptized to baptized, and so on. This is called the liminal phase. Limen means threshold, transition, limit. It is a visit to the borderland—the fluid, uncertain, and complex space that creates opportunities for change. The crisis, the uncertainty, becomes fertile ground for creativity and transformation. This ancient wisdom tells us that we have a unique collective opportunity to create massive change in the world right now.
Perhaps you are waiting for stability in your life so you can live what you truly long for—what presses from your heart like an acorn against its shell, ready to sprout into an oak tree.
But the reality is the opposite: if we wait for the “right” time to unfold, we miss the opportunity. Life becomes firm and orderly again, everyday routines harden, and your longing and creative potential get stifled.
If you want powerful, loving, and creative support to find and create a new path for yourself, the opportunity is here.
From August 20–22, I am offering the course The Art of Healing Yourself in Copenhagen as a physical course. You will receive all the tools you need to find your way in the area that has caused you the most confusion and frustration—the area where a breakthrough would make the biggest difference in your life.
Work, love, health, and creativity are the most common areas participants choose to focus on.
You can read about the many ways previous participants have benefited from the course here: /en/courses/.
The course teaches you to heal yourself fully—using your own deep, natural creativity. You will come into intimate contact with the feminine: your body, nature, intuition, and emotions. This connection gives you the power to create something completely new in your life.
To keep everyone safe during the coronavirus crisis, I am keeping the course small, so you get lots of personal support and coaching from me. I will teach in both Danish and English. I would love to see you make a breakthrough in the life you long for.
Take the chance. Listen to the call of your heart, to the inner pressure to become ALL of you.
With love and creativity,
Karin
